Daisy, Prank now knows how to keep this new Palace much cooler in the Summer months than the old Palace up North. I'm not sure how it does it, but he is meeting my requirements and I don't much care how he complies, as long as I get the results I demand.
A Supreme Ruler's day can be exhausting. What with supervising Prank's food service, the chattering vermin Squirrels, that Big Fool Bird that keeps disturbing my naps by flying in circles over the North balcony and fitting in my busy schedule all my much needed 19 hours of nap time.

I can't wait to read your poem. I am always fascinated when people comment on the ones I have posted here. Sometimes a person will have a perspective that was not apparent to me, it's a kick to hear what they have to say. Makes it a lot of fun too. I read some poetry blogs here from time to time. I always find the sad ones for some reason, some very deep sorrows out there. Often I find it hard to say anything but I'm working on that. I just get so moved sometimes that this loquacious tumbleweed is almost mute.

By the way, when my daughter moved her in the spring to have her babies, she moved her cat, Mellow, here too. Mellow promptly let me and Lulu, and Bob, know that his motto is "Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped as Gods. Cats must never forget this." Mellow of course, like Bob, and even Lulu, does not understand why the adult humans of the household spend so much time catering to the wishes of the whining infants who do nothing but lie around and wait for someone to serve them. But as long as Mellow's own needs - as well as Bob's and Lulu's - are met, he allows us to take care of the babies. He's a good kitty. Bob send his greetings, and Lulu her deepest humble respectful regards, and Mellow says Good to meet you and At your service Mighty Woogs. I'm glad to introduce you to the good Captain, Sherry.
He no longer performed music after 1982, he paints and still writes poems. A lot of his music is still considered "out there" but he influenced a lot of those who sold a lot more records. I know the first time I heard him was on a Warner Brothers records sampler I bought at the head shop in 1971. Well, Abe, let me see if I can de-twistify your noodle on this issue. Even though America has developed a certain amount of "uniformity" from sea to shining sea, regional dialectical variations abound. I grew up with an accent derived from the middle Altantic areas of Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. Plus I have spent years in South Florida, Western New York and decades in Colorado. I am a mutant.
For example, the word you know is fire, I may say as far. A tire fire is a tar far.
You do not boil water, Sir. Ya bawl werter, Suh.
Baltimore, Maryland is Bawlmur, Merrilyn...and so on.
Colorado, or Colla-rada, which gives me a little midwestern twang.
Now the word you know as business comes out of my mouth as bidness. And bidness almost rhymes with Guinness, or as I say, Ginness. Bidness and Ginness. Not a perfect rhyme but to my ear it is close enough. I hope that helps you better understand the vernacular of yours truly.
I will try to provide a translation of Pranklish to English in the future, Abe. Or maybe some kind of glossary, I'll think of something.
