If I had a million-ga-zillion, I'm not sure if I'd go for mountains (I say I would consider it) or back to my sea level Florida...tough call, especially when I see a picture like that! WHAT a view! I'm imagining opening my window, stepping outside on my deck and seeing that every day!!! Or do I go out and walk on my old beach? Decisions, decisions! (Right now the housing market is pretty much making the decisions for us damn it all!

Ohhh I'll be ready for some beach time soon for sure. I lived for about a year on Hollywood Beach in FLA back in the ealry 80's. I love be nearing the water too. Almost moved back to the Virginia coast last year but I ended at slightly higher elevation once all was said and done. And the views are spectacular....

Yep, I had the pleasure of living the loca vida in our Nation's Capital, Rubble. I matriculated close to one-half decade over at the American University on Nebraska and Wisconsin Aves. Plus I spent many of my adolescent years in the fine town of Reston, VA. I always seemed to have a good time even it was sweaty in the Summer, I don't the miss that humidity much. And now I thinking of those fresh blue crabs from the Chesapeake...yummy....ever get a fresh bushel?
I hope you get out that bikini and hit the sea and sand soon. Don't forget to take some pictures...

Bought the record, Rust never Sleeps, having followed Neil through CSN& Young. A very different Young can be heard on a special that is going around on Satellite. It ain't crazy horse...more like Tennessee or Kentucky.

I think I got it figured out, ice.
With Al Gore still able to speak in public freely, global warming is a given so as the ice caps melt, soon the coastline will be east in Western Kansas and west in Eastern Utah. I'll be a stone's throw, figuratively and literally, from the best of both worlds. From the Great Divide to the Coastal waters in less than 3 hours and 10 gallons of gas. So I hope everybody can pitch in and burn as much stuff as you can so I can realize one of my fondest dreams.

Yes, I was reading about Neil and his family and learned about his Dad's successful career as a sports broadcaster. Canadian sports television can help solve the North American immigration problem, Ron.
I believe every American should watch Hockey Night in Canada so that we may appreciate the rich diversity that our Northern brothers and sisters bring to us in the USA. So many misunderstandings have arisen due to the differences in culture, language and customs. It is important for Americans to embrace all things Canadian and not just look at Canadians as comedians, actors, hockey players and musicians. For Canadians are so much more, they can wash dishes, mop floors and clean hotel rooms too. Canadian restaurants are popping up all over America and Colorado is now a net importer of Back Bacon, Planked Salmon, Tourtiere, Saskatoon Berries, Oka Cheese and Maple Syrup. Plus the Lumberjack style is all the rage this year with the chic dressing youth of Colorado. Axe sales have never been higher to middle and high schoolers. Why it's almost as if we all want to say "Nous sommes des bûcherons et nous sommes O.K."
I really don't see what the immigration fuss is all about, Ron. Why some of my best friends are Canadians and the sooner we can mainstream them into American society the better and stronger country we are.

Prank, Dunedin offers a bit of both (low) mountains and beaches. Unfortunately, penguins are the ones most likely to appreciate the sandy beaches this time of year.

Very good to see you out and about. I have been on and off myself the Blogstream so far this year but life is settling down. A little time for vacation coming up and some blog fun too.
Thanks for the tip on Dunedin, I always try to get along with the locals. More of a lover than a fighter unless someone gets on my bad side. And I am especially fond of Penguin, yes, very tasty with a nice wine sauce and red potatoes and asparagus. You have to cook Penguin thoroughly or else it's a bit tough.
I hope you are not under-exerting yourself with your non-campaign for President. I am looking forward to a rousing non-election campaign with many gratuitous acts of indulgence and minor indecencies. As for the major indecencies, it all depends on who is indecent I suppose. We'll that evaluate on a case by case basis.

Hi Secret,
That view in the photo is about 30 minutes from my front door. I can see that same mountain, Mount Meeker, from my north balcony everyday where I am situated on a ridge in the hills northwest of Denver. Just not as close. Still not bad with the coffee, but more often I am out on the south balcony with Woogie checking out Pike's Peak about 125 miles away.

Let's see the last time I saw Vegas was 1991; I married my first ex in Vegas at some famous chapel (I can't even remember the name of), and should have left his ass there or run off and be a showgirl myself!
At that time, the Mirage was newly built. We stayed at the Sands. I loved Vegas! It was a fascinating place and one could get lost in the nickel slots all day!
