The Paradox of the Prankster

My Wednesday Mantra -- El Pollo Diablo Edition
Back to Full Blog

He's frenzied
And fully feathered
The most dangerous
Bird that I know

Whom everyone
In this Town
Is afraid to
Stand up and oppose

He's a killer
Way better looking
Than Phyllis Diller
On all those old TV shows

He's the Bird
With a plan and
Folks 'round here
Call him El Pollo Diablo

Best step back
Don't call him Chicken
Or else he might just
Peck off your nose

You must be ready
Fully loaded
And locked down or
Your weakness he'll expose

He has won
Every battle
Against great fighters with
Whom he's gone toe to toe

He's the Bird
With a plan and
Folks 'round here
Call him El Pollo Diablo

Please do not consider this little ditty my endorsement of cock fighting. First off, I was the only Human in there, the rest of the fighters were chickens. And once they were done with me and I got out of the ring I couldn't have sex for weeks....

Prank:

I have a great recipe for El Pollo Diablo. It uses a lot of hot sauce.

Hey Prank. Years back we were terrorized by a fighting rooster, I finally had to put my bull dog on it when it started attacking every time we went outside. Now believe this or not, that rooster played dead and survived a pitbull attack! My dog spit the "dead" rooster out, and as he walked away, that rooster jumped up and hauled his drumsticks outta there! Then within a few days the darn thing was back to his old tricks! His second encounter with a bulldog was permanently fatal!
Hope all is well with you and woogie. peace~shadow

Yes, Prank, WP has the correct perspective. How does your foolish encounters in after hours bouts with roosters affect me? And given this particular creatures ferocity, I say he's someone I'd like to hire. So I demand that you add this this rooster fellow to payroll, toot sweet, as your friends from Montreal say, my Prankster.

WP, I thank you for your perspicacity. Not a typical Human trait unfortunately...

Nevertheless, I want you to know that I now include you in that very special group of Humans I respect. Humans who display what I call the "Cat's Eye". Yes, the "Cat's Eye" is not something that most of the masses of dull Humans can fully appreciate. Our superior Feline minds are so much more sophisticated and complex than the simple Human brain. I know you understand what I am talking about, as does Prank and Coloconnect, Daisy, Six Foot Blonde, Shadow, Whit, Kristin, Night Bug and a few other Humans that I find acceptable. All of you are special in your unique ways. So I promise, Paw over Heart, that if it ever becomes necessary in order for me to achieve my goals, your deaths shall be painless and quick. You all will never, ever know what hit you. That, WP, is my solemn promise that I, Woogus Coloradus, makes to one and all!

Woogs!
I feel honored to be admidst that group of glorious people and yet a bit woozy.
Its a bit comforting to know you are there for us in such a...uh..grave way.
Thank you dear Woogs.

How could you?

Prank, those mean, mean roosters weren't very, very nice to me.

And hot sauce? Even that very, very bad Woogie Cat would never do that to me!

Mr. Happy!

Hey ice,

El Diablo Pollo was inspired by this rooster who used to rule the roost back up near my old Palace in Boulder County. He ran that barnyard with an iron beak and was offered a position working as a Government Contractor down in Gitmo. Some kind of job interviewing the detainees and gathering the facts he said. Anyway, I don't think he he took that job but you never know, what with this crazy economy.

Be well my Friend and give my best wishes to Pup.

Cheers! Photobucket

Yes, Anexplorer, the mighty El Pollo Diablo strikes fear into all who oppose him. His iron beak and talons are as sharp as razors. His punch is like the rock hard kiss at the end of cold and icy fist. I'm thinking it may take one of them killer satellites to take this dude out.

Cheers! Photobucket
