My Weekend Mantra -- She Gave Me Divinity Edition

Pecan sugar clouds
Bring back some sweet memories
Chewy toothsome puffs

So it seemed to me
Back when I was nine years old
They were hard to beat

Imagine my glee
Tasting the Divinity
That she gave to me

After just one piece
It was all I needed to
Awaken brain cells

Does not seem like food
Sugar putty for a hole
Gots extra texture

Long dormant taste buds
Now can go back to sleep deep
For forty more years

Prank's Friday Six Thoughts (Which is a little bit early since I will be traveling Friday) Edition

1) I never lost hope for a better day.

2) While my heart once looked like it was forever broken, it was merely badly bent. It's more than O.K. now.

3) One of my favorite sayings is "Without fear there can be no courage". So I try to be courageous everyday. Care to join me?

4) I wake everyday happy to be on this Earth and here with you at this time in this place.

5) We all can change our lives for the better but we got to really want it to happen and then do what it takes to make it so.

6) There is so much more that unites us than that which divides us. We are all in this together.

So good to feel the Sun
As it shines bright on me
While I go walking
Around the Labyrinth
Breezes blow cool now
The big ships float by
Lazily on the Sea

Giving thanks to all
4 corners of the Universe
For bringing me
To this special place
Chills go up my spine
As birds sing so sweetly
Their greetings to me

During meditation
A tear sneaks out
And tickles my cheek
Peace fills my Soul
My Heart smiles ever
So deep and warm
At what I know can be

Her smile lights me up
Whenever I see her
I sometimes wonder why
It took me 49 years
To meet this girl

But then I think
Better late than never
And I don't believe I'd
Ever want to leave
Her sweet world

When she looks deep
Into my eyes
I want to tell her
So very much how
My heart starts to twirl

Joy inside unbounded
Each moment savored
Whenever she's around
Fireworks start flying
And flags are unfurled

Red squirrel chatters
Branches swaying in the breeze
Sun shining on me

Highland path climbing
Up the mountain side tall
Get above the trees

Soaking up the sights
Smiles beaming to the skies
Must tread carefully

For if I fall down
And hit my head on a rock
A drag that would be

So I watch my step
And the Deer come out to play
What a sight to see
