It's 8 more days Then I'm flying Touching down In your town
Just 8 more days And I'll be standing In your doorway Ringin' your bell
Only 8 more days Until I see you Look in your eyes And see that smile
Those 8 more days I can feel it Not too far now It's my new Home
In 8 more days Back to where I left my Heart In your hands
For 8 more days I'll be waiting Until I am back Where I belong

Friday morning, the sun is shining, no work today, I remembered my camera and I had to take a ride...
All pictures except for the map were taken today by me on my drive in the nearby mountains.

A very fine September 29 in Estes Park, CO.
The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO.
On the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway south of Estes Park, CO.
The Twin Peaks -- Mount Meeker at 13,911ft elevation and Long's Peak at 14,255ft for which Prank's soon to be former hometown, Longmont, is named.
Saint Malo's Catholic Church near Allenspark, CO framed by Mount Meeker.

Highway 119 from Nederland to Boulder.
The route begins and ends in Longmont at 4,722ft elevation. I started west northwest to Estes Park (7,552ft) and then caught the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway south to Nederland (8,362ft) and then rolled east down the mountain to Boulder (5,440ft) before back to the Prankster's Palace. See map below:

One day I hope you can see it live, it's a great ride!

For 13 long years Never once until now Did I ever try to Edge the walkway why I Just let the grass grow
This morning I awoke And looked outside Then I wondered Just how wide is That walkway, you know
Since I am signing bunches Of papers and affidavits Attesting to something About this old Palace way up On this Mile High plateau
Anyway, today I did What had not been done In over 13 years so I borrowed an edger And gave it a real good go
Seemed close to a foot Of walkway concrete exposed And not once did I fracture bones nor Lost any blood but just in case Nearby was a quart of type O
